Topic: Intro to DPP. History/Overview of Buddhism.
Book: "What the Buddha Taught" by Wapola Rahula. Members must purchase this book in advance of this meeting, but need not read the book before the meeting.
Article: "Two Styles of Insight Meditation" by Bhikkhu Bodhi. Free online.

 

July 9, 2006. 3-6 pm
Topic: 4-noble Truths/Practical Applications in meditation postures & organizing life for practice.

August 13, 2006. 3-6 pm
Topic: 8-fold Path overview/Practical Apps in Dana (generosity)
